Anand Eye Hospital offers structured, intensive fellowship training aimed at shaping future ophthalmologists into skilled specialists. These fellowships provide indepth clinical and surgical exposure with mentorship by renowned faculty in a state-of-the-art learning environment. AHEC has trained, refined and molded multiple students into skilled surgeons and ethical ophthalmologists as they step into bright & promising careers.

Programme Overview
- Eligibility– Post MS/MD/DNB ophthalmology or any equivalent degree recognized by MCI
- Seats – 2 seats every 6 months
- Duration – 2 yearsÂ
- Course Fee & Stipend – As per the Hospital GuidelinesÂ
- Timings – Monday to Saturday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, (Sunday off)

Teaching Program
1. Regular Seminars
- Regular weekly seminar presentations by fellows, moderated by consultants of the department
- Regular journal clubs discussing the latest developments in ophthalmology
- Weekly case presentations conducted in an exam-oriented manner
2. OPD & Procedures
- Extensive training in investigative procedures such as Indirect Ophthalmoscopy, OCT, Fundus photography, FFA, OCTA, B-Scan, ICGA, ERG, VEP etc
- Fellows are trained in various OPD procedures
3. Workshop & Conferences
- Fellows are encouraged to participate in National and International conferences to present and publish papers and posters
- Fellows are encouraged to volunteer for inhouse conferences, training programs and CMEs
4. Video Based Discussion of Cases
- In addition to regular seminars and journal clubs, our department conducts video-based case discussions.
- These sessions provide fellows with an opportunity to analyse real-life cases captured on video recordings.
- Guided by experienced consultants, fellows engage in interactive discussions to enhance their understanding of various ocular conditions, diagnostic challenges, and treatment strategies.
