Dronacharya Award Recipient - YOSI Conference 2025
We are proud to share that Dr. Sonu Goel, Senior Consultant at Anand Eye Hospital & Eye Centre, was recently honored with the prestigious Dronacharya Award at the Young Ophthalmologists Society of India Conference (YOSICON 2025).
The award, named after the legendary teacher Guru Dronacharya, recognizes exceptional contributions to mentorship, teaching, and guiding young ophthalmologists in their professional journey.

At Anand Eye Hospital & Eye Centre (AHEC), we believe that true progress in eye care comes from collective learning and active contribution to the ophthalmology community.
This spirit was reflected at the Asia-Pacific Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (APACRS) Conference 2025, held in Ahmedabad from 21st–23rd August, where Dr. Sonu Goel had the opportunity to serve as Chair for the Refractive Symposium and as the Chief Judge for the Free Paper Session.
These platforms allow us not only to share our knowledge but also to learn from the community across the globe.
